N. Katherine Hayles, is a reference for artists and resear- chers, that corelate immediately on the creating of possible interactions between the human and the artificial. Artificial is a part of the human, by nature. In our modern age, there is an increasing move in cybernetics to regarding information and human subjectivity as bodiless, N. Katherine Hayles specifies the mechanisms, on cybernetics and the cultural theory of cyborgism:

To be posthuman means to be embodied, only in a different way.

– Homeostatsis or feedback loop, where the system tend to an equilibrium with theirinside and the environment.

-Reflexivity, autopoiesis, where the main issue is if the observer is outside the system to study or is part of the system.

-Virtuality, Emergent behavior, Artificial life, where the system is composed of many parts and the system overall behaviour is the result of the complex interrelation of the parts, of their emergent properties/behavior.
